Let There Be Peace

peace-of-mind1

I.
I believed in the sweetness of a lover’s stringence.
When this is voiced in the hope of invigorating the soul before the dicerned uncertainty
and interpreted as invalid conclusion,
Let there be peace.

II.
The flood shall be shallow,
the fire shall stop kindling,
the wind shall be soft,
and the earth shall be unruffled.
Let there be peace.

III.
Learn to position your thoughts and feelings.
In the heart, in the mind, in the soul,
Let there be peace.

IV.
All that I’m wishing for shall meet the sky to unfold.
But grant me peace, for my heart is throbbing with pain,
my mind is embraced with uncertainty
and my soul is crying.

…Let there be peace oh Lord.
